Perplexity.AI a more Capable Chatbot for Writing and Research

Following the recent controversy surrounding OpenAI, you may have concerns about its prospects. However, that is not the focus of this post. While ChatGPT is an outstanding tool that excels in data analysis, I prefer other tools for writing and research, such as Claude and, for this newsletter in particular, Perplexity.ai.

I use OpenAI ChatGPT all day to complete simple tasks, help me rewrite my content, generate ideas, and create images like this blog header. However, ChatGPT doesn’t do an excellent job writing even after I’ve tuned it with custom instructions. I spend a lot of time editing and rewriting outputs. I usually use a combination of Claude and GrammarlyGo. However, lately, I have been using Perplexity.AI more often. Here are some of the reasons why.
